Transportation
You can fly into San Francisco or Oakland airport. You can either rent a car there or you can take the Airport Express (www.airportexpressinc.com) 707-837-8700 to Petaluma and then arrange a ride or have the bus driver call you a taxi to take you to your destination. Bodega Bay and Valley Ford are rural towns; there is no public transportation. You may wish to share a rental car (Enterprise Rent-a-car, 707-778-7100) with others. Travel time from Petaluma to Valley Ford approx 30 minutes and to Bodega Bay is 40 minutes. Bodega Bay is 10 minutes west of Valley Ford. Bodega Bay is located on the scenic Pacific coast in Sonoma County. You will pass through Valley Ford on your way to Bodega Bay.
