The horses and the EGE-1 process give us the clarity and courage to walk into our life with choice and stand for change in our communities and our the world.
Leadership is about being in right action to what you care about and allowing yourself to flourish. It’s about being in integrity with yourself and those around you. By observing and working with horses we will let go of limiting perceptions of leadership, reveal what holds us back from excellence, and learn the key ingredients of effective communication and coordination.
This program focuses on developing ‘self-leadership’ by refining your natural-born talents in relation to your goals and ambitions as well as identifying limiting perceptions that may be holding you back. The horse ‘guides’ the process of inquiry and reflection along with Ariana Strozzi (Leadership Coach) and the SkyHorse Ranch staff. There is no riding involved in the program and no horse experience is required.
We begin with the question, “Are you leading your life, or is it leading you?” Interacting with horses allows us to gain profound insights into where we are in right alignment with our values and intentions and where old stories or habits of thinking and behaving are now interfering with our ability to flow effectively in our relationships and life purpose.

What Can I Expect from the Ege-1 Program?
A typical EGE-1 program has approximately 10 participants from various walks of life. No riding or equestrian skills are necessary. The focus of this program is on self-development distinct from learning horsemanship techniques. If you are an equestrian, the topics learned here will benefit not only your personal and professional life but your relationship with horses as well.
The first day we will introduce ourselves and set the context for the principles set forth in the program. In the afternoon we will begin observing and being with the horses.
During the days that follow, we will engage in various activities with the horses and reflect on how what we are learning directly relates to the other areas of our lives. As the program progresses, we will develop our intentions and goals, gain clarity on the choices we are making in our lives and develop new and effective practices to accomplish our goals and move forward with our lives.
The program runs from 10:am to 5:00-6:00pm each day. Tea and snacks in the morning, and lunch are included. Lodging is available at the SkyHorse Ranch Guest House.
